Interior Light

I thought I had all of my lighting problems fixed, obviously I was wrong. I fixed the wiring harness for my headlight. But, when i was cleaning out my car about 3 weeks ago, my interior light(right above the drivers door) would only come on if it was in the actual "on" position. It doesnt come on when i have it set at the "door ajar" setting. So whenever I open up my door, the light no longer comes on. Any idea whats causing this? Any info helps here! heh

Check other doors, and replace door buttons

also, just replace the assembly ~easy~..find them at the yard cheap.

had the same prob, never fixed it. not helpful but at least you wont feel alone now.

My experience with Audi electricals is bad wiring. I would first check the door switch which tends to corrode after a while. If you're not getting voltage to the switch, the wires from the car to the door might have pinched in half.
