Yet more junkyard fun
As friday night came I decided to find more junkyards or places with cars to tear apart. I must have some luck, one place on my list only has about 4 cars, and one is a 4000CS(non quattro). I honestly couldnt believe it, Im gonna get up early tomorrow and see if they are open, and if so, maybe start to tear some of it apart. Anyways, it has different wheels on it, not the Ronal ones, but I believe they are audi wheels. Anybody know the story on these? Anyhow, there is another place that a friend took me to over a year ago, and they had a few 4000's, so im gonna check that out too! And Steve, if i get to that other 5000 tomorrow, ill check on the price for ya!

Results....
...a bit depressing. The 4000CS turned out to be an 86 and a 5 speed. That wasnt the depressing part. The guy wanted to sell the car whole, blah to that! So I walked away with nothing today. The other yard had crushed the 2 4000's a year ago that I had seen a long time back, oh well. Looks like I'll have to go to Indy if I want to find any decent 4000 used parts!
