how much oil do you folks burn???

how much oil do you folks burn???

im puttin in a good quart every two weeks or less. my other 4000 burns oil too and i hear its a very common thing but is it normal? i do drive the car very hard but it just seems strange to me to use that much oil.

My 86 4kq doesn't burn a drop. Doesn't leak it either. Tight after 200k miles. My Subaru on the other hand...

As far as Subaru's go, I had 2 of them myself and I know where you're coming from!

140k when I yanked the 5 cyl, didn't use any.
The GLI we had used one every 3k with 165,000 on it.

It's funny...an older guy came up to my Subaru and asked me how it is running. I told him it requires many repairs, but functional...he then smelled the front of the car and proclaimed, "Yup, it's a Subaru!". Ha ha, very funny. I want a Jeep now...
