seat heater conversion almost complete on 4kq
this weekend i helped a buddy strip a 90...
well it had heated seat but the seat were all ripped up..
well i decided i want a seat heater in my seat....
so i pulled the harness and the elements..
transplanted the elements into the 4kq seat
figured out how to hook up all the wiring.
i found a 4kq with the seat heater switch still installed, yanked that
put the piece in my car but the pinout on the 4kq switch is completely different
it has a dual switch (controls both) the 90 switch only controls 1 heater.
i think this is why the 4kq switch has 7 pins versus the 90's which has 6.
anyways.. does anyone have the pinout or can tell me which color wires are suppose
to connect to which pins.

Re: New relays for me, no click and no heat. Any ideas?? Switch??
possible.
you can bypass the switch if you can figure out
which two terminals turn it on or off..
but more than likely you have a break in the wire on the element.
are you handy with a multimeter?
might be bentley time.
that's how i figured mine out.
that and some testing.
