Default Suggestions Welcome on my CGT

Hey guys, I posted a little while back about my digi dash not working, so I took it in to the dealership and found out that they want to charge me nearly $1100.00 for an instrument cluster.. I dont know what to do now, I bought the car for $850.00 only probs it has is it needs new front shocks, new catalyctic converter, and it leaks oil from the cap/head of the engine.. Im wondering now if I should sell while Im ahead or fix? any tips on the instrument cluster is welcome. This is by far the sweetest car Ive ever owned, would hate to sell but am confused.. Other then the probs listed above, car is in great condition no signs of any body damage and a little rust near driver side door. Also was told that only 2 previous owners and 92,000 miles..

So now you all know my problems and suggestions would be appreciated..

Thanks

The miles mean nothing; that car is good for another 100k.
Change the digital dash to analog. You can surely get everything you need at the U-Pull-It out of any 4kq or CGT. Or, you might try taking the dead cluster to a speedometer shop, they can sometimes fix them if it's just bad solder joints. NEVER go to the dealer for anything unless you absolutely have to!
Cat converter? Kind of odd to need one of those, I'm curious why. If it's clogged, just take it off and ram the guts out of it and reinstall. If it won't pass emissions, that's another story.
Leaking head gasket is probably just annoying and messy, if it's just damp and not gushing I wouldn't worry about it. Run 20-50 oil to slow it down.
Frt struts, get some Boge Turbogas, they are not expensive and work very well, I run them in my car.
Good luck!

Just as a reminder, what was wrong with the digidash?
