ok so i bought my 4kq from a mechanic.. it had this icky grime on the steering wheel that kinda peels off and leaves a gross residue on my hands. i thought it was just mechanic crap and that itd all peel off shortly but alas no, its still there. is my steering wheel dissolving? i have another 4k and this isnt happening with that one. is it common? its just nasty and i really dont want one of those hideous leather wrap things on my wheel.

maybe someone glued something onto it, one of thoes hideous wraps perhaps?

I belive the quattros had leather wheels and the FWD models did not.

Go buy a Momo wheel

i got a sweet Momo wheel too match the rest of my interior of my ride...............it cost me

230 wheel
80 bracket kit

it is a amazing wheel

You can buy a Momo or similiar for $130 and up, hub kit an additional $45 or so. Once you have one in your hands, you will never want another stock steering wheel again! Look at it as a nice excuse to treat yourself.
