Default Well, here she is!

Not bad for $1300 eh?, paint needs a little work, no rust, no issues, the only thing that doesn't work is the AC.

Default Answer inside...

I believe you refer to the 60k mile reset for the O2 sensor. You must remove the instrument cover, and on the back side, there is a small, square hole that you insert a screwdriver or other long, thin object to press a reset inside the instrument cluster. If this has never been done before (low mileage car), there may be a plastic "tooth" in the way, similar to a videotape erasure prevention tab. You will need ot desturctively remove this tab, then press the reset.

Nice car, late 87 by the quattro cloth. Too bad it's red, red is for hookers (JK!)

Default I went on an extended drive tonight, odo is broke! Ha! Oh well...

It runs strong, and rides great, this car has had a lot of work done. I found new CV joints, what looks like newer shocks, good brakes, new (really cheap) tires. Things broke - AC, power mirror switch, radio is a complete POS (no biggie) and the paint is faded. There is one rust spot near the left rear window (the small one). I'm happy with this car, even if I have no clue how many miles are on it.

Default Radio and Power mirror switch...

Lots of folks have had good results by replacing the radios with either Kenwood or Blaupunkt units, either can be had with lighting that matches the instruments.

The power mirror switch is typically in need of cleaning. The switch is located so that people either get them wet with the window open, or spill their latte/soda/whatever in them. You can take it apart by removing the arm rest, and removing the switch housing from the it. Disassemble the switch (carefully, small parts!) clean all the contacts and lube, reassemble and it works fine. If not, you can get these at a junkyard for little or nothing, most Audis of this vintage had them.

Good luck!
