If you have a digital dash spend one minute to help me, please.
If you have an 1986 or 87 gt pleasedo a comparison test for me.
Disconnect the harness plug from the speed sender on the speedsender that is located on the drivers side of the transmission. It is accessible from the engine compartment.
Turn your car on and see if the LCD works, not just the bulb lighting up but the display appearring.
Let me know if the screen goes out. I think it does but I do not want to guess. Thakns

I will try to disconnect tommorrow, i do know that when i wash my engine, and the sensor gets wet, it doesnt work, but my screen still reads at 0, and shows my tripometer, so my assumption is if the sensor is bad your screen should still light up at 0,HTH,Jamie
