CGT rear badging?

how hard is it to remove the rear badging on a 1987.5 CGT? I was thinking of removing the Audi GT badging and putting a 4 rings emblem (off a 90 or soething like that) dead center to update the looks of the rear. Any thoughts? is it just double sided tape?

Here's what you do: Get out a blow dryer, blow it on HOT on the badge. Keep checking to see if you can easily pull the badge off, don't force it, because paint will come too. it usually take a couple minutes of heating to get them off.

Hmm..

Ive got many badges from junkers including a 4ring emblem from an audi 90. All i did was take a tiny screwdriver and very carefully pry the pieces away. Dont know if that helps ya much

A LITTLE heat with a blow dryer, as stated above. Be very careful not to blister the paint.
New emblems will come with the double-sided tape already applied, just peel and stick.

4 rings

you have the four rings from the trunk of a 90? are they for sale, I can't seem to find them anywhere. how much?

Yeah, I've got a 4rings emblem from my former Audi 90. Look around for a 1988 Audi 90. The emblems were dead center on the trunk, just below the lip spoiler. Sorry, I only have one and it's going on the back of my Coupe...
