Halogen to Xenon upgrade?
I wanted to upgrade my headlight bulbs from OEM halogen to Xenon. Piaa only has Xenon with 45/64 watt (the same rating at the OEM 9004). I found a company named NAXOS who has Xenon 9004s rated at 100/80 watt and they are about $25.00 cheaper than the Piaa. Anyone else hear about this company?

Likely will fry your wiring...get a relay.
Unless you use a good relay system, trying to run that much power through the stock wiring will likely cause a melt down. I'm running 80 watt H7s in my Passat and that's really pushing it, and the Passat has larger wiring than my 1987 CGT. So, be careful if you go overeattage...get a relay.

Just to clarify, when you say use a relay do you mean.... use the OEM wiring to trigger the relay and use the realy's own 12v supply to power the higher wattage bulb or is there a special relay?

If you are doing that you are not buying a true Xenon setup. You are simply being suckered into ricing out your car. A true Xenon HID setup will cost you around $800 with your stock reflectors. Get a good set of euro lenses before you waste money on bulbs that have their light difused so poorly you can't see ****. Check this place out if you want to spend money on worth while bulbs, or just get high wattage Hella buld for $8 each<ul><li><a href="http://hids4less.com">http://hids4less.com</a</li></ul>
