OMG!
The Coupe is back together. The 4k transmission is out, and the AudiSport 5spd/4.86 LSD front/rear is in.
Holy crabcakes!
It was quick before, even with the weak pressure plate. Now with the taller gears and the dual plate clutch it's a rocket!
I have never driven anything like it. Plus now that it actually steers, it handles the power like it should.
I still need to do another alignment since both front and rear has all been taken apart, but I'm psyched.
James...I'd like to get a set of the Sach's disks relined. Since I just put my last good set in the Coupe, I should get at least one spare set. I think I may have two complete sets to work with. I'd like to chat with you about other stuff too.
