WX 000 011... anyone have an earlier?? ;)
So... as it turns out, the chassis C 00572 has an engine number WX 000 011
Looks like a very early US car, given that some WXs ended up going to Swiss market, this might be one of the very first US cars.
Anayone have a chassis earlier then C 00572 and can they verify what engine block number you have?
Just trying to find reasons to keep this car together

WX usage elsewhere...
Family Album says WX wasn't used in CH until MY '88. It was also used in Japan in MY '85. So one would assume that all early WX came to this continent.
The collector car outlook for the urq is uncertain at best. Even if that changes, I don't see any real added value for an early WX unless it has some documented significance (very first one here, owned by someone recognizable, etc.).
Maybe AoA or Bill Bremer can shed some light on this particular vehicle. Can't hurt to ask!
