any reason,why my pass. window works slow?!
today i want to RI. and the pass. window workt so slllllooooooowwwwwww! i have no clue why.......maybe the motor?! or the wire ?! I love driving the toy 
always have the Smile on my face after i park ,my wife she thinks im sick or something .Looking forvard for the UPG

I am in the same boat as you
I was having trouble with my window, getting slower, and slower.
One day it wouldn't go up all the way without some assistance.
Two things happened at diffrent times.
I had to relace a broken 2 ended mounting bolt that holds the motor to the door (there's 3 or them)
I removed the door panel, and removed the plastic sheeting to reveal the 3 studs holding the motor in place. They are two sided bolts with a rubber union (this broke)
I just backes both ends of the broken bolt out ,and replaced it with a 10mm bolt. (some washers are required to space the motor as far away from the door as was in the orginal assy.
This worked great for 3 months everyday use.
hen one day I could hear a terrible noise coming from the door when I went to open the window.
The window would only go down half way.
Upon further investigation, I discovered the window pulley cable was badly frayed, and becoming two-blocked on the spool.
I'm attempting to replace the bad cable with that cable used on bicycle shifters.
It'll be a while before I have enough time to attempt this.
New assys. from blau are $150.00

My 83 did the same thing
Last weekend I had the whole console out and even tried a different switch and it was still slow on the passenger side. What i did discover is fiddling with the connectors that connect to the harness the window started to move up and down fast again. Check those connectors under the console. Eventually I need to replace them.

You also might want to look at the switches. Just had mine apart and saw some serious carbon? build up, like on an old dizzy cap. CLeaned em up and voila, windows again!
