Does $800 - $1000 correct for installing springs and shocks in my 02 a4? 7 - 8 hours? I better....

I had my dealer install my CO's and was charged $350. AMS's labor fee is $340 & $150 for
alignment.
7-8 hours for a sport kit is a bit much (even for a quattro). More like 3-5hrs. My CO's took all day, but they are harder to get set up correctly the first time. Plus there were some problems.

Make sure they know what you're asking for
because otherwise it sounds like they're ripping you off. I haven't had it done, but a friend has, and it doesn't cost NEARLY that much. I would let them know how I felt about that
