Any one tried 255/35/19 ?
Has any one tried them on the back. I have some 9x19 OEM RS6 ET35, stock sport suspension. 235 /35 /19 for the front, but the rear really needs to be wider.
Any help would be a great help.

Just curious - and I'm not knocking you...
But what is the fascination with extremely wide tires, particularly the rear tires? I've seen a number of posts asking about sizes ranging from 245 - 265 or something crazy the other day. Are you trying to achieve a "look" of some sort, or is there some performance benefit to having the rear tires be extremely wide on a quattro or fwd vehicle?

No there is no Quattro and the wider tyres are just for the look.
but I did run wider wheels and tyres on the back of my old TT with Quattro with no problems at all for 15000 miles (F 8x18 225/40/18 and R 8.5x18 255/35/18)

FYI, different size tires....
are OK on a TT because it has a different quattro system (Haldex) than an A4 (Torsen). Haldex acts as a front-wheel drive most of the time. Torsen drives all four wheel permanently.
