Default Re: 1.8T Lease Deals

Here are the current promotional lease money factors and premiere purchase rates with residuals. The residuals are for 12K a year, for 15K subtract 2%.

Now, the dealer does have the option to raise the money factor by as much as .002. In addition, customers approved under the College Graduate Program qualify at the "Preferred" rate.

Anyway, here are the residuals and rates. If your car is a special order you can lock in your rates up to 30 days in advance.

1.8T

36 mos - 57% - .00115
39 mos - 55% - .00115
42 mos - 53% - .00115
48 mos - 49% - .00125

Premier Purchase residuals are the same, rate is 2.75% for preferred and 5.75% for standard.

3.0

36 mos - 51% - .00115
39 mos - 49% - .00115
42 mos - 47% - .00115
48 mos - 44% - .00125

Premier Purchase residuals are the same, rate is 2.7% for preferred and 5.7% for standard.

Some specials are not national, but regional. Depends on demand.

Default What does that mean?

The specials I posted were from someone at Edmunds and I assumed they were all national promotional rates.

Howe can we tell which is regional and which is national then? Or do you mean that on top of what I posted there are also regional specials? Please clarify!

Also, what are the options for a customer to get current promotional rate information that is pertinent to his/her region besides asking the dealer and hoping that the dealer will be honest about it?

Default It is regional. If you look at the fine print on any TV or print ad, you'll see disclaimers.

Basically it is to move inventory that the factory is focused on producing, or excess inventory. That can vary a lot by region. The Northeast takes QTRs almost exclusively. The Southwest takes far more Front Traks. Depending on what is in the pipeline and already on the ground, AoA decides what specials ( if any ) they shoud run for each region.

If you go to Edmunds and look at the lease calculator after entering your zip code, you may find different numbers. In my area a QTR 1.8 has a 36mo money factor of 0.0033 for 36 months.

Default I don't quite understand.....

Edmunds does not show Audi Financial money factors or residuals AFAIK. They point you towards leasecompare.com which does not include promotional rates for the factory lender (I think), it only uses national lender quotes to display what's available which are higher than the factory promotional rates nowadays.

Also the 1.9% for 60 month is a nationwide promotion on a loan AFAIK, I just wanted to know the current promo for premiere purchase. I guess I better double chek my source......
