I did a little work on the Jag system...
Back when I was in college. The supplier for it had a small lab in the college town I lived in and that was my beer/food money job. This was 2+ years ago, and they were already getting the second version ready to ship.
I don't know if you can really say Audi is behind the times. It's more like Audi finally found a supplier with a price/performance combination that they liked.

Really? Did you go to Purdue? I worked in that group at Delphi but not that particular product.
Did you work in the validation lab? What years were you at the lab? You might of known someone that I know that worked there.
