Hey Dustin, I had this problem too. They lubed the brake cable and it helped a bit...

it didn't fix the problem completely, but since it's been warmer, I know I can't reproduce the problem for them, so they won't really bother with it. I'm afraid that it's going to be back again next year and I'll have to deal with it then.

Please let me know if you come to any definite solution.

my e-brake was stuck twice...

both times the temp was around 10-20 degrees.
maybe it was a random occurance, cause it got stuck only twice during the entire winter season.
i had no choice but to drive a bit slower and pull the handle up a few times when i reach a stop light.

i hit 10k miles 2 days ago, so i'll add that to the list of things for the dealer to check.

i use the parking brakes every day when i park in my driveway (cause it has approx 20 degree slope)

I've had the same issues and it is being fixed by dealer on the 17th (more)

My e brake froze nearly every time it went below freezing. I was always able to pull it up but I could not get it to disengage after it froze. I had it in a month or so ago and the said they noticed the caliper hanging. The lubed it up and sent me on my way to see if it would help. It didn't.

So they ordered the parts and are replacing the cables. If there are more parts being replaced I'll update this, I just don't know exactly what they ordered at the moment.

I'll update exactly what they replace. Unfortunately I proably won't know if it helps until next winter.
