Default So, at 30K miles, I'm on my 3rd set of rotors and pads...

Had them changed again yesterday (fronts only this time) due to mild vibration when braking at highway speeds. The first set were done at 20K, which is somewhat normal, but for these to go in 10K miles is a little concerning. I'm curious if other 3.0 owners are finding the same thing, although I know a lot of you haven't racked up this many miles.

FWIW, my car has never been tracked. The dealer replaced them under warranty both times without questions, which was nice.

Default I have a 1.8T, my rears were warped and replaced under warranty

fronts were fine according to dealer

I had 27k miles on my car, and I do not track my car and drive and brake pretty normal.

Worth a shot, Dennis. After replacing them, there is no vibration whatsoever...

Yeah, but your Focus isn't a big, fat pig. I think weight plays a big factor in brake wear/abuse.

I think your post was misplaced on the Audi forum. Try the Ford forum.

Plus, it's the brake compound too. Hard + squeaky=long-life.

Default I seem to have the same problem, I've got 28K and I was thinking I will tell dealer to replace...
