Audi says its most powerful model ever -- the 2003 Audi RS 6 will carry a base price of $82,700.

The RS 6 is powered by a modified Audi 4.2-liter, biturbo V-8 producing 450 horsepower and 415 lbs. ft. of torque. Audi claims that the RS 6 is among the "fastest five-passenger sports sedans ever to enter the U.S. market, with a 0-60 miles-per-hour time of just 4.6 seconds and an electronically governed top speed of 155 mph."
The 2003 Audi RS 6 arrives in the U.S. in July 2003 and is produced by quattro GmbH, the high-performance arm of Audi AG, Audi of America's parent company. The RS 6 is the first U.S.-market model by quattro GmbH.

Ok, So its a twin turbo. The S4 xchip makes like 90 extra horeses. THe chip for this car is OMG

So with the S4, the US probably won't get a B6 RS4

In a year, the 2005 A6 updated body style will be out and ...

some of those 2003 RS 6 owners will feel sick that they dropped that much money on an old body style at this point on the calendar.

I saw one in my village yesterday. I was crossing the road...

and was waiting for him to pass so I could get a good look. I couldn't believe it. Anyway he insisted on letting me through. I was glued to see if what i was seeing was true. As I passed I said is that the real thing( first kind of dumb question? He said it sure was ( as my jaw was hitting the floor)and I asked him ( First completely dumb question) if he was happy with it!! I didn't let him answer and said ' of course you are'. He stopped for about ten or fifteen seconds - seems like a good guy. The car flew off with zero effort - he wasn't showing off, it just flew down the street, sounded beautiful. If I see him again i will flag him down and ask for a look. Red with beige leather interior.
