i finally got chipped......post-chip thoughts here..
feel:
more responsive to throttle response.
sound:
quite a lot noiser, especially at the 2200-3000 levels, rough sorta rusty sound coming from the engine....anybody got this after chipping?
Speed:
raced a WRX and he gave up after i hit about 170kmh, when i stepped on the second stage of our throttle, it kicked down 2 gears i think....CVT
next to come:
bpv, either forge/evo or gfb.( any suggestions? i'm torn)
high flow filter (kn or itg, still deliberating)
0-100 speeds are still not significantly better, on cvt mode posted a hand time 8.8s.
will dyno the car soon and post.
later people....
im confused....
i only got the stage one, abt dealer here sez safer to go with stage 1 for cvt, abt doesn't really recommend stage 2.
think that after i change the stock bpv it'll improve?
