I took my two friends over to safe and sound to look at getting some small subs for both there cars (Passat and Jetta) and we ended up going to Pepboys where I bought some red dome and map lights. Wow! My friend with the Passat had some blue ones and the guy with the Jetta bought some too. Then we went to Circuit City (but we left for target and came back and bought under glow for the Jetta). I think we did a very good job installing the under-glow. I found the best way to hide the wires. Any questions welcome. The pics tell the rest:

it's this really soft yellowish/whiteish hue and it lights up the four footwells all the time at night.

Perhaps the blue is a bit ricey, but if its the same blue as the dash lighting (such as the mercedes footwell lighting matching the dash lighting) then it probably does not look too bad.
