guess what!!

i finally picked up my 04 1.8t quattro 6speed with premium package and sport! brilliant black on ebony leather =)

cant wait to pour on the mods.
pics to come soon!

how long do you guys suggest before i chip? 600 or 1000 miles?

thanks to all you guys for helpin me out with the purchase!

oh yeah i got the car for 1000 over invoice. =)

congrats!!!

you can chip as soon as possible, depending on availability. what i would say is wait at least 500-1000 miles, chip.....experience the difference. chip now, you won't feel your money's worth, but that's me. i chipped my '03 6 months and 5k miles later only because i was waiting on GIAC. also, make sure to break in the engine properly.

I just bought my 1.8T A4 yesterday, with sport and premium package, ebony leather interior with silver exterior, with lojack for 500 over invoice. With the 1.9% APR. Dealer hooked it up.

oh yeah...a lil worried..actually A LOT

i burnt out my clutch ...practicing first gear up a hil... saw smoke come out and it smelled pretty nasty. OUCH with 31 miles on it =(

should i be concerned??

I would hold off for a few months if not a little more to get chipped...

With a new car comes bugs and possibly several trips to the dealer...ie new clutch. You don't want to have to keep replaceing the chip or risking your waranty until you get a good feel for the car. You just never know if you're going to have problems and the last thing you want is a voided waranty on a new expensive and expensive to fix car.

Just my thought. Congratultions!!!
