Default Hey Jet Jockey

bout ur PSS9, how do they adjust? on the top of the shocks or at the side so u can reach?
u think drilling a hole to access to the adjustment **** is a pita to do?

i got someone saying he got tools for some wet drilling or something and they wont rust later......

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/37620/dsc002691.jpg">

why don't you take the wheels out and adjust them instead?

Default its the dampening or rebounding, not height...

i want something easy to adjust, so i can have a good ride in winter or nights that i want to just stay smooth

and ride that is stiff for racing or for some crazy driving...

its hard to adjust those with KW or FKs...

Default Ah yes, the pita Konis. That's the beauty of the PSS 9. Only 9 pre set adjustments only a click ...

Away. No drilling required or any modifications needed. When facing the front of the car the adjustment on the front shocks are facing you at the bottom of the shock. When facing the rear of the car it is the same thing. Front adjustment facing front, rear adjustment facing rear. The fronts on a lowered car is easier to get to because you can turn the wheels. The access to the back is a bit more restrictive in that you will have to look under the rear quarter fender reach under and turn the ****. It is really that easy and from racing the car several times now with varrying conditions, I can tell you the system works fantastic.

Default The picture of the PSS 9 adjustment **** is in my pics poster now. It shows the rears, you can....

See the **** above the attachement point on the shock. BTW, I make no beef about it, I suck at the internet and computers so I don't know how to link a picture to a post so in the picture poster it goes.

Default Here comes the bad news. PSS 9s for Audis are not available even for the B5 platform in.....

North America. Although the kits are available in Europe there was a problem for the B5 for the North American market and Bilstein USA is working in getting the B5 issue out of the way.
What they told me was they are going to bring in the kit for the B6 but it too will have to be tested to see if the European version will meet the North American requirements and they were very reluctant in giving a time frame for it. Anyways the B6 kit became available in Germany in November 2002 and through the French distributor in Paris (I was in Paris at the time)I ordered it immediately but by the time they got all the parts for the shocks and the springs that go with this kit it took almost 5 months for the French distibutor to get the kit. My springs which are made by H&amp;R were made in April of 2003! Very low production numbers and almost custom made kit at least that's the way it was until late this spring. The PSS 9 is not cheap either, it is hard to know what price Bilstein USA will sell them for once the kit become available here but if you look at the PSS 9 for the Golf IV and add a couple of hundred $ to the price it might be a close guess. If you buy it in Europe you get credited for the VAT because you are exporting it but shipping and American taxes and duties may just cancell out the VAT savings. The EURO vs the US$ is another thing that changed since I bought the kit, the Euro is more expensive to buy now. I figure by the time you get it State side you are looking at $2000.00 for the kit. Your best bet is to call Bilstein USA and get a time frame on the B6 kit.

Drilling holes in the strut tower to adjust the Konis is not a problem and I almost went that way but the kit I was waiting for was under development and I could not wait anymore because my Solo 2 season was about to start.
