Problem with break light..it seems to be left on after turning the car off...
Really weird. I turned the car off along with all the lights the other night. The tail light/break lights were not on. Came back the next morning to find the break light on. I had to turn the car on and play with the break pedal b4 it turned off. I'm really worried about this killing my battery. I'm bringing the car in to the dealer on Friday but was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem for their a4. I've gotta a4 1.8T '02...don't know if that helps.

Yup! Happened to me too...
Tell your dealer it's the faulty brake light switch. It's happened in a number of '02s and early '03s. How about this one...I come home from a weekend getaway and while walking through airport garage, I see my tailights lit up. I think, "someone must be in the car," -- so I call security, they rush to the car, and then look at me 50 yards away. They shrug and yell, "aint nuffin in here! it'z you caw, it'z screwed up or sumptin."
