Default Homelink troubleshooting...
Has anyone had issues getting Homelink to work with their garage door? I followed the manual's instructions and it should work b/c the lights flashed 3 times, but it doesn't work for some reason. Are the instructions correct? Does the age/type of garage door equipment matter? thx

The car has to be running for it to work, iirc.

Default procedure for doors with rolling codes is different.
I have noticed mine is fairly week and often find myself sitting in the driveway pressing the button time after time. The neighbors must think I'm nuts.

mine works great, and has good range. However, I have found that I need to hold the button down for about 3 seconds for it to work.
I found the instructions on the Homelink website to be better than the ones that Audi provides.

Mine does not work. I can drive up to the gate, press and hold, and nothing happens.

Default If you have a rolling code you need to ..
After your flasher blink 3 times you need to go back to the door opener and press teh learn button and then press the home link button you just coded untill you garagedoor open lears the code.

look on homelinks website for detailed instructions
