Just taking the opportunity to give credit where credit is due. Basically a shameless plug...but again it is deserved.

I just bought my 9th Audi over the weekend (maybe my 10th...I'll have to count again) and my 3rd Audi in the past 2 years from Allison at Newport Auto Center. She is the Internet Sales Manager there...and typically spends her time selling Porsche but she is an Audi brand specialist at the same time.

She once again gave me the best deal. She is very forthcoming with information relating to invoice etc...but more importantly buy-rates on financing and leasing as well.

I've dealt with a lot of dealers over the years and any of them (for the most part) can give good pricing (% over invoice etc..) but where the waters can really get muddy is with the financing and leasing. You're left to second guess whether or not you're getting buy-rate etc...and if you aren't...trying to figure out what the mark up has been. Alison has always shot straight with me on all fronts.

I guess the point to all this is that I avoided this dealership for many years...assuming that because they sold Porsche and Bentley/RR and were in a very affluent area of SoCal that I wouldn't find decent service from the sales staff when it came to my $30k purchase. Nothing could be farther from the truth...if you're in the market for an Audi and Newport Beach isn't too far out of your way...call her! She's at 949-673-0900.
