Default our open window was 10 pm to 1 am...almost ran into trouble when the file server didn't come up

had to call tapes back and it took 3 hours to get it.

good part about the night was that i went to my buddy's house after for some texas hold 'em and won $140

just got home....hmmm what can i buy for $140 lol

Default yup all of them are your friends, but we needed to be there in case a server goes poof...

but then again, my work schedule is swing (i'm mr no social life), so 3 to 11 was normal for me . staying till 2 am was not...

Default not necessarily. You don't want SUS automatically installing and rebooting your exchange server. ;)

but yes, SUS makes things easier when it works. Its sucks (like all Microsoft crap) when it doesn't.

Default actually, our SUS pushed the "install" option to the servers. these set of patches required reboots

so we had to watch them things...

Default group policy is also your friend...

i use sus, and I have a different GP set for different groups of servers sorted into two organizational units... My mission critical servers use the download and notifiy option, and my non critical servers use the automatic install and reboot option.
