My Uber-Ghetto vented wheel liner mod is complete!
I took the vented wheel liners from my buddy's 3000GT VR4 (he has two, one of which doesn't drive, so I yoinked the ones from that car) and trimmed them down to just the vents. I then took out my own wheel liners, cut out rectangular holes for the vents, and grafted them in using bolts & washers. Very simple. I did both sides, even though I've only got the stock IC right now, because I plan to have the OEM Audi 2nd IC at some point, and anyway I figure it's always better to be getting hot air out of the engine bay. I don't know how much this will help my stock IC, because it is still blocked by the damn washer fluid tank- That's gonna have to go, but for the moment I think this will be a step in the right direction.
