sounds like ebay germany is just a bad idea in general...only buy from state side people i wouyld say...talk to reznunt for ecodes and stuff like that..i had great experience

I've been so fortunate with eBay.de, with no problems thus far (knock on wood). I would be soo pissed if this happened to me too. I hope everything works out okay.
Personally, for that kind of cash, I'd find the cheapest flight to Munich and go knocking on his door, assuming you have the correct address. Of course, it might be smarter to get the local law enforcement together before going to his home.

Will try to contact police there tomorrow. If nothing else works, I'll show up
at his door eventually. That a$$hat is in my little black book (only two people there now). OK, for him to receive the money order he has to have access to the mailbox at the given address. To cash the money order he has to show ID and it has to match the name on the money order. I am fairly sure that's his name and address. I have a couple of friends there. I'll see what they can do to help. I never got scammed in my entire life (I like these cars too much, that helped). I guess there is a first time for everything.
