AC died
I'm in Vancouver, BC, just returned from Osoyos, where as we all know
39C (102F) is a normal temperature this time of year. And my beloved AC died on me exactly when we arrived there. In fact I think it decided to heat the air instead or at least it seems like it. Driving around wine sampling rooms is more or less bearable (after 3rd tasting or so), but 400 km of the return trip at 120-140 km/h with all windows open is not much of a mood enhancer. I looked through the archives, it seems that at least two people has their share of AC problems. With 27c outside I honestly don't care if it's a valve or a compressor or the fuse (checked these btw, all fine), what I wonder is if it's reasonable to expect from a dealership to provide a decent loaner, and not some 'sporty corolla' tin can. The car is 4 months old, so I am *really* pissed off now.
I'd appreciate any info, going to talk to service dept tommorow. Just wanted to be prepared.
BTW, it's silver 1.8tqm (sport suspension, bose, xenons); and I traded in another A4 for it.
