OMGHI2 clear corners: B6 clear corner mod so darn EASY - 10 min job!

Once I removed the headlight, I think it took me about 10 min per light to get the amber lens out. I noticed that in the FAQ, it advises that once you break the amber lens free, you should take the projector headlight bulb assembly out in order to extract the lens.

Not necessary; the lens piece comes out if you shake it under the high beam reflector. I popped out my auto-leveler, then pushed the reflector forward (so the light aims up), and it created enough of a gap that the lens just falls right out. The second light honestly took me about 10 minutes (if that).

I've done at least 10 clear corner mods on B5 A4s, and that is one tricky PITA job; takes about 30-45 per light, and is never 100% clean. Not so with the B6, quick and clean.

I've been meaning to do this too, just afraid of the AOA Gods...any issue with auto-level warning?

i thought so

but everyone i've talked to who's done the CC mod with xenon's says it's much much harder than halogens...and that it was not easy at all...threw me off
