Can cleaning leather/vynal with a steam cleaner ruin the interior?

IMO, U want 2 clean & quickly hydrate leather/vinyl...Steam will rob natural ointments &...
subtleness...
I'd stick to friendly cleaners that clean gently and moisturize also...(sounds like a facial creame ad...Ha! )...Lexol comes to mind.

well, im going to at least use it for wheels, tar, non leather dash , metal, i thought it be nice if
I could use it on everything. maybe ill try it on leather at the bottom of the seat to test it out but if it f's it up, no one will know

I'd recommend buying that from someone locally that has a liberal return policy...
...because I bought one, thinking it would help me clean my bathroom and it was a totally worthless POS. Ymmv. No way in hell would I ever use that on leather - water ruins leather.
