AggregatVier, any updates about your previous post on the S4 wheel liner?
I was all gung-ho to do it, until I searched and found your thread about the possiblility that venting air too quickly, doesn't allow air to stay around to cool other areas of the engine bay, or time to cool the SMIC.
I'm more inclined to think the increased heat you saw on your front tires is due to the engine bay heat now venting some through the wheel well. That should be an expected result. I wonder what the effect of the S4 liner vents on the passenger side will be with an intake drawing from the position where the secondary SMIC would reside.
