Default Trading 02' A4 1.8T for a MINI

I have had my 02' A4 1.8t (tiptronic) since May of 2003 and still enjoy it, but also would like something more funky. I am a car enthusiast and love having fun while driving. Any thought on the idea of trading it my A4 for a Mini Cooper S? While I understand that the quality of craftmanship will not be as good, and the ride comfort will also suffer, the idea of driving a go-cart like car appeals to me. Any and all opinions are welcome.

Default It's fun until you try to fit more than one person in the car.

In addition, pray that you will never be hit by anything larger than a Geo.

Default i had an awesome time behind the wheel of a mini cooper s

however i am 6'2" and that fun lasted about 35 min. dont get me wrong, it was a fun ride, but the comfort level was unbearable for person my size. so unless you don't plan on driving anyone around, and you are of avg size, then id say try it out.

i must say the bourne identity and italian job made those cars what they are today. and by that i mean an appealing sportscar and hype.

also the handeling is amazing and u can peel out in like every gear.

good luck with it though.

To me, the MINI is just a car to play with on the weekends. not a practical everyday commuter

I test drove the regular Mini not the S. I would keep the Audi without a 2nd thought!

Default I found the A4 more fun while driving slow

The Mini didn't come into it's own until you start to push it. Great car overall.

A Cooper S is really really fun to drive, but not nearly as comfortable or practical. Maybe a WRX?
