how come there isn't much interest in roof spoilers for the B6 chassis?

how come there isn't much interest in roof spoilers for the B6 chassis?
i saw a lot of the bimmer guys doing it, but although we aren't the bimmer crowd, i was wondering if there was a reason why many people held out from getting them.
it seems as though that S4 blades are a lot more popular for this crowd than the roof spoilers...but i weighed my choices and the roof spoiler looks like it may add nicely to the car...especially after i get a kit on...and it's cheaper

to me, they're gaudy.
as are most bodykits. note i said *most*, not all.
the B6 is a very smooth, very clean design. any additions look just like...an ADDITION.
in my mind, if you're going to add something to the car, it should blend and flow nicely with the existing design of the car. i just frankly haven't seen a lot out there that pulls this off.

Its all in the matter of taste......

I thought it breaks the lines of a sedan A4 too much... but unless thats what you like it to do.....If I decided on one, my choice would be the Caractere roof spoiler being that it seems to blend well to the roof edge & not too aggressively turned up...but then maybe I think it would be the one that would best compliment the curved edge of my Zender trunk spoiler.
