ipod installation problem

ipod installation problem
I followed yeahboz instructions yet my ipod is not working. When I try to play it my cd display reads "CDC1 Loading" and after awhile my regular cd player begins to play. I don't know what's going on? Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Thanks a lot!

yes it's a simple fix. Once you have everything hooked up, you have to pull the power connector
from the back of the radio. Make sure to leave the top connector plugged in. This is the CDC connector. Just unplug the bottom power connector and then put it back. You should be set once you do this.

sorry to bother you again. is on the left or right side of the back of the radio. I'm guessing it must be on the left side. Once I do find it and unplug it do I have to then reprogram the radio? Thanks again

no need to reply. i got it and it works great! the only question i may have is does the ipod's battery charging when it's playing?

Re: I've not seen the adaptor. I'm not sure if the one you have plugs into the IPOD's A/C port.
it's not charging. what's it exactly that I need (name of the product) to get. thanks.

I'm not sure if you are using the ice link or the blitzsafe adaptor but you will most likely need to
buy a car charger for the IPOD and then cut the wires and hard wire it into the radio's power source in the back. You can get a decent bracket to hold your IPOD from bracketron.com. it comes with a universal holder....
and you just set it in or you can use your own desired holder, maybe something better looking.
The bracket hooks in behind the radio using the stock screw holes already there so you don't need any drilling or modification to your car. That's the great thing about it, it's a really clean install. The black color of the unit matches the radio paint color perfectly too.
