Question regarding Peeps w/ lowered Suspension (Beyond OEM Sport) in the Snow Belt...
Eventhough you may have quattro and snow shoes, do you experience any problems w/excessive snow accumulation in wheel wells???
Just a concern of mine, the 1" or so lower clearance on the underbelly doesn't bother me as much as the above...
Any thoughts or input would be great...TIA.

Biggest concern is the ground clearance...
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/747/tristlake.jpg"></center><p>I have hit more rocks( on gravel roads) and dragged bottom on snow mores times in the Avant than my S4. I was high centred once with my Avant. The ESP kicked in and I was stuck. Dropping an inch would make it worse.
I've never had a problem with the wheel wells getting clogged. I think it all boils down to what you expect from your car in drivability.

My non-sport A4 2.8Q got propped up on snow. Needed to scoop under the car to get going again
...and that was in my office parking lot. Same thing occurs when driving up country roads to go winter camping. Now I figure it is just better to rent something with high clearance when heading into country areas.
Snow in the wheel well has never been an issue, but ice build up on the inside of crappy steel rims has been an issue since the balance goes out of whack. You end up having to wait till it melts, or see if you can reach under the car and hit the ice off with a stick.

Should clarify. Got stuck in front of my house, this Pic..
is a 15 miles away last winter and I didn't get stuck. It was snowing real hard and we blasted snow right over the roof. The tracks in the picture were from my going into a parking area to go ski touring two hrs before. They we almost filled in when we went to drive home.Problems usually arise when the snow is disturbed by other cars and has a chance to set up a bit.
