Anyone ever get new tires from dealer using tire warranty - Continental
I rotated them about a week ago to see if that would help and gave all the tires a good inspection during the process. I didn't really see any uneven wear and the tread still looked really deep. So not much wear normal or uneven from what I could see.
So I started reading the Continental OEM tire warranty this morning. It says as long as the tires are within 12 months old and have greater then 2/32nds of tread left (which they do) you can go to dealer and have them replaced FREE of charge. It says you should have to pay any installation charges, just taxes only.
Now it doesn't specifically address what issues are covered. In my book this annoying noise should be covered. Has anyone ever dealt with tire warranties before with Audi?
Thanks!
We'll see what the Conti dealer says. I have a feeling they will brush me off. I just have a problem spending $1200 on new tires when they are 10 months old with maybe 6000 miles on them. If I get some new ones to take me out another 10 months, then I won't have a problem spending the money on new tires (Goodyears F1's).
