why is my brothers 04 a4 pulling on me ?

Default why is my brothers 04 a4 pulling on me ?
ok here's the situation, my brother has an 04 a4, chipped and TT diverter valve, its been chipped for about 4-5 months now,
my car, is an 05, with intake, exaust, tt diverter valve, and just got chipped two days ago..

we raced the day i got my chip, and his car still pulled on me.. not as much as before, but he shouldnt be pulling on me at all, i SHOULD have a good 25 hp on him and 40lb of torque
he told me that my chip has to adapt to the car, and in a few days i will see a big difference...

i dont understand how that could be.. can anyone confirm this ?

also, the chips are both APR chips...
the exaust on my car is an apr exaust, and the intake is the EVO intake.

Why would your car have 25 hp and 40 tq more then his?

Evo intake = hot air and hp loss? Do you have the same transmission?

Evo has been said to have a negative effect on the vehicle.....try with out it.

because i have an intake + exaust ... he just has chip..

and yes, we both have 6 speeds

Default Intake and exhaust won't give you much of a gain, if any....
Infact, your evo intake probably cancels out any gain from your exhaust.....

Intake and exhaust gains are not at PEAK, they are just gains within the power band.

nope, i drove his and he drove mine, his feels quicker, is it because my chip still has to "adapt" to my car... thats what he was telling me...
