Wetterauer Chip for 3.0L

Wetterauer Chip for 3.0L
Well I had one in my A4 for about 6 months, and I was getting an annoying hiccup at 3400 RPM which was especially noticeable in 6th gear when on the highway.
I sold the car last month and bought a R32, but when I swapped back to the stock chip before I sold it, the hiccup went away.
I spoke with Kelly @ Wetterauer about this, and she offered to upgrade the chip to their newer version. It seems like no one else has had this problem, or I haven't read about it before.
Since I sold the car however, that is not an option for me. So she told me I could sell the chip to someone else, and she would reprogram/flash it with the newest program for $150 to whomever buys it. So... the chip is going for $395 from Wett, so whomever gives me $125 for the chip can get theirs programed for a cost of $275.

Off Topic: Can I ask how much you sold your '03 3.0 for?
I'm selling my '02 A4 3.0 Avant on eBay now... but bidding seems really slow. Any advice on where else to sell? How long did it take to sell?
BTW, I got the same Wetterauer chip, but I didn't have the hiccup issue. Mine is socketed also and I have the original chip too. I'm selling the car with the chip installed though...

Well I had the same dead spot with mine at 3400rpm. I got the new program..
no more dead spot but I think it has a little less torque. I'm sticking with the new program. Is still better than stock with throttle response.
