electrical gurus... i need your help with installing an additional 12v outlet...
i want to install and additional power outlet for a cell phone charger. i want to have it somewhere it will be concealed... either my glove box or arm rest. i know nothing about electrical stuff except that when you screw-up it hurts (speaking from experience). is it as simple as tapping into the existing wire for the outlet that i have now? or will i screw something up? thanks.

Depends on how you want it to work.
If you want it to work only with the key or have a constant power supply regardless of key position, then that will make a difference. Since you are unsure of what you are doing (and there is nothing wrong with that.) I would seek out a friend that knows what they are doing for assistance.
