Do Audis have "soft" glass. My windsheild is toast......

I drove though a harsh pacific storm in cental Ca. and the wind blew up sand and dirt and the result 1000s of pin ***** holes in the windsheild. Any luck going though waranty, as it should not pit like this. I have a 250 deduct...So at worst i will eat that.

Mine doesn't look any worse than any other car I have owned.

I see lots of salt, sand etc every year. 44,000 miles and 3 winters on mine.

Yes. Audi windshields have high % of recycled glass. Environmentally sound but soft.

I'm pretty sure that this is NOT covered under warranty

since the storm was an Act of God and not Ingolstadt's fault.
