Default Billstein Sport shocks and Neuspeed Sport springs, man it seems low. any others?

I think A4Adman took a measurment from the pavement to the peak of the front wheel well. I can't remember what it is though. I will measure later.

Bottom line is it seems really low for a sport shock and srping set-up although I know that Neuspeeds run pretty low.

At this point it almost looks like I am tucking my 17' inch sport rims, and I am worried about 18's fitting in there without issues. While I do not know for sure it does look like my OEM 17' sport rims with LM-22 235/45/17's may be rubbing certain areas.

Any one else go through this?

Maybe I should look into different springs, maybe current springs are done.

Got me but I would appreciate the help.

Thanks,
Andrew

If you plus size properly your over all tire diameter will be the same as the stock diameter. For some reason people can not grasp this. If you increase the wheel diameter (18") you will decrease the side wall height to achieve the same diameter as the stock setup.

Default You do have to watch out on the offset with a lowered car...

I do have some rubbing at the back, which is sitting at 24-3/8, with only a tiny amount of clearance between liner and tire...

Default well, I actually think hes more worried about running a wider wheel...

Stock 17": 7" wide w/ 42 mm backspacing
Replica 18": 8 or 8.5" wide w/ 32 or 35 mm backspacing. If it is really tucked under there, he could have rubbing issues, especially in the front. But I wouldn't think so with just a neuspeed sport setup. Race setup would be diff.

Default I am running the same setup and on 19s and very minimal rubbing in the rear...

and thats just rubbing the carpet away so not that big of a deal. My offset is et35 also. You should be okay with the right offset wheel.

Default i have the same set up

with 19x9 in the rear running 245/35 and i had to camber the rear slightly because of rubbing. when you get your car realigned, just have them do it.
