Who else mistakenly hits the trunk latch button on their key fob on a regular basis?

Who else mistakenly hits the trunk latch button on their key fob on a regular basis?

To be honest...I am very mixed on having that feature on the key fob. Since I had the car the past 4 weeks..I musta mistakenly hit that thing a dozen times in error. I stop driving, close the door...hit the lock button...no beep sound..go to investigate..find the trunk open every time. Ugh. I wish it was harder to activate that feature on the fob.

That's odd: on my fob I must keep the trunk button depressed for 3 seconds before it unlatches (m)..

Just touching the button inadvertently shouldn't release the trunk lid... I don't recall ever unlatching the trunk "by mistake" in the 1.5 years I've had my car.

Mine must have a strong battery or something..or they changed the transmitter

I agree, i have never hit the button by mistake, its in the center, lock and unlock

are on the top and bottom, actually my key fob is indentyed at the top and bottom and perfectly unused in the center. makes no sense to have the trunk release on it anyway since the unlock button hit twice unlocks the trunk too....
