Default couple things done to my car today!

APR snub mount

S4 door blades
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/75221/s4_blades.jpg">
these must be the two easist mods ever! the snub mount must be the best mod for the price. coupled w/ a SS, they create a whole new driving experience! the door blades just plain out look cool. (big thanks to QuattroRocket for the GB!)

next up suspension, zender lips, and then wheels...

Default What sort of different can you tell with the snub mount?

Do you recommend it? How much does it go for? And any bad possible side effects?

it reduces driveline movment when shifting. shifting feels smoother now. i would def recommend it. they cost about 50$. side effects unknown.

Default Dumb newbie question ....

What is a snub mount and where does it go? I understand what a short-throw shifter does, and I'm assuming the snub mount has something to do with that?

Default It's an engine mount that is located under the belly pan in the center behind...............

the radiator. It helps with vibration on our cars...the stock one is a rubber POS....this is a very good mod for the price. $40 for APR

Do a search to find anything you want.

Default its really easy to avoid that (m)

you just have to make sure the basket is not touching the snub mount when you tighten the screws. If it is touching, the vibrations from the engine will travel to the chassis and the rest of the car where you will feel the vibrations. If not then you will not feel any vibrations at all.

Default exactly my point....

even though it's an easy upgrade you still have to pay attention to the details as you would on something more expensive or difficult. I took the time to do the install right on mine and I have had no complaints - only positives.
