ATTENTION! GTG Idea for tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006............
Dirty Car / Cabin Fever GTG
Since it's apparent that there is interest in a gtg and the weather sux to be standing around outside for any legnth of time, here's my suggestion.
Meet at Roosevelt Field, jump on Meadowbrook Pkwy. to the Beach, run Ocean Parkway towrds Captree, stop at an open ocean side parking lot for some pics with the ocean as a backdrop, usually, cedar beach is open, continue east to Robert Moses Pkwy., double back to Farmingdale on the Southern State Parkway, get off at the New Highway exit (short twisty airport backroad section) to Dave & Buster's (formally Jillian's)in Airport plaza. Eat, Drink and be Merry!
Plenty of T.V.'s to watch the Olymics and Daytona 500.
Bring the wife (or significant other) and kids and score hero points with them!
We can cruise in two seperate groups, if need be. One for scenic drive (this means wife won't let me speed with the kids in the car) and another group for the fast and furious.
