APR vs O.CT
Hello,
I have two shops nearby, One is pushing the APR software and the other is pushing O.CT. Naturally each feels there software is superior for various reasons. Any comments would be appreciated.

No simple answer..but lots of questions.
What engine do you have?
Are they chips a flash or a soldered in chip.
Who has the best ability to diagnose future problems and offer you service/support?
What is the claimed output of each chip?
Are you comfortable with the levels they will push your turbo?
What is the repution of each installer?

3. mmm...very subjective...Based on presentation, they would both claim better support. I was very comfortable at both shops.
4. APR has a slightly higher output overall. O.CT is saying they have more/linear low end power. I would love to hear some seat of the pants stories with both so I can gage it to my driving style.
5. I am as comfortable as everyone else who is flashing a new car with a warranty. But then again my 4 year old daughter loves that "Dad's car is much faster than Mommy's truck". Unfortunatly there are a few mods planned for the truck as well. Bottom line is I have to keep in good standing with my girls.
