Cop shot dead tonight. Not far from Syracuse NY.

Two black males, heavily armed robbed a New Hartford NY Jewelry store, and handcuffed the workers. Got on Route 5 towards 'cuse and crashed into a gas pump at a convenience store where there was a gun battle. Three cops shot, one dead. They caught one, and the other fled on foot. He is still on the run.

He died from being shot in the throat.

There was another car as well with two others, but they have not printed anything about them yet. Probably to ease everyone a bit.
