I'm worried my car is going to break.

I don't get it. I have driven my car HARD for the past 3 months and I still dont understand, NOTHING has gone wrong mechanically. Yes I had the bent rims, yes, my girlfriend's brother backed into it, but hell, nothing bad has happened on its own.

Hit 104,000 miles yesterday, luckily I dont drive it much during the semester. I change the oil every 4,000 miles; only thing wrong since I got the car in January (88,000 miles) was a bad power sterring pump. (Yes, 16,000 miles in under 9 months)

What can I expect to happen next? Am I jinxing it with this post?

If you want a car that doesnt break or worry you, get a subaru like I did

There's a difference between driving a car hard, as opposed to abusing it...

I used to own a BMW 525i up to last year (1993), drove that car very hard, literally flooring the car at every highway ramp etc... but I always maintained the car well and serviced it religiously and never drove the car hard until it was fully warmed up... After 190k miles it is still on its original auto transmission etc...

I have to laugh at that comment.

ive driven my car since i got it at 51k and it has 81 now, regul;ar service and maintenece, its fine..

i had one torn cv boot whoopie.
